CORRODED!!! Seems like at one point there was some liquid in the storage bin that leaked through.

Notice 1 wire broke off from the corrosion...this was my hatch light.

Here is a pic of it after, I took the casing apart, steel wooled the casing, reassembled the case, soldered the hatch wire and put everything back. The hatch light is now working :)
